Activity key has been a game changer for me going swimming in the ocean most days this summer. No more leaving the car unlocked or hiding a key in my shoe on the beach. Well worth the money for anyone who swims, kayaks, surfs, sails, etc

Murphdizzle:

The Defender key fob on my 2020 is two times as heavy as my 2013 LR4 key and more than twice as large. My 2011 LR4 key fob is about half way in between. I hope this helps.

Enjoy!

YES! Thank you for this information!! My estimated delivery date is not until December 2nd (and who knows how accurate that will be) so I have plenty of time to do my research! Thanks again! Can’t wait!

That's great, but having it available for Apple Watch would be 1000x better!

Anyone know of the Activity Key availability? I haven't looked in a while and have written it off. If you picked one up after buying the Defender, please let me know. Would love to know what the all in cost was: Activity Key + Programming. Thanks.

I would as well, but my dealer said you can’t order them at all as of now, that was on July 1st. Maybe it’s been discontinued??

I just picked up a 110 V8 last week and it came with two keys. Hopefully that is a good sign for all of you who are still waiting for the second key.

My biggest problem with the Defender's key isn't it's size. I came out of a Jeep Gladiator whose key may have been even bigger, so the size isn't an issue to me. My complaint is that there is no remote start button on the key. Only being able to start the vehicle through a finicky app is ridiculous to me. It's a nice option, but it shouldn't be the only one. First world problem - I know.

Also, I assume JLR is reusing Key Fobs from another line of vehicles in their fleet as the icon for the trunk/boot shows a tailgate opening, which doesn't exists on a Defender
