Default Does the 2024 Defender have the “sifting sound” of the 2020?

Find myself increasingly regretful for parting with my 2020 HSE, to the point I’m seriously considering buying a 2024 this summer.

The only real issue I had with my 2020 was the well known “sifting sand” sound from the headliner near the passenger side A pillar? Does that still afflict the 2024 model?

Nothing even remotely similar on my 10/23 model year 2024 build. It’s been solid and quiet.

What have you been driving since, if you don't mind me being nosy?

^^Sold my Defender in October 2021 privately for full ask because I wanted the raw, masculine experience of the new Bronco. Bought my 2DR Wildtrak in February 2022. Still very much love my Bronco. Would probably keep it even if I bought a new Defender.

My daily is a 2023 Porsche Carrera T, the best car I’ve ever owned.

Thinking about the Defender as a quiet highway cruiser, among other things. Thoughts or suggestions?

2022 Ford Bronco Wildtrak 2DR (Eruption Green)

2023 Porsche Carrera T (Ice Grey Metallic)

2020 Land Rover Defender 110 HSE (Tasman Blue)

I haven't driven a whole lot of premium highway cruisers so unfortunately I don't have any recommendations as far as that goes. I traded my Defender for a Passport Trailsport which I'm delighted with as a daily driver, honestly it's the best vehicle I've owned but it's just a nice all-around SUV not so much luxury segment. If I were doing a ton of highway road trips like if I can ever retire someday I might look into a van, like an Odyssey or Sienna. I know it's not so flashy but there's something to be said for a van IMO.

By the way I love that green on the Bronco. Nice color choice. Good luck in your search, new vehicle shopping is fun times. Defenders are cool, I don't want another but I know that makes me the minority out here.

Nice! Mine was a 2015 GTS. But I traded it on a GT4 when they came out in 2016. Still have that one.

No Bronco - but I'm considering one. And am waiting to see what the 992 GT2RS ends up like.
8 Land Rovers and 3 Porsches. And a 71 Camaro SS 4spd. :-p (And a Tesla as a dd - the only vehicle that I will ever part with)

The club of good taste here.
