Seems like the online configurator for MY2025, at least for the U.S., does not allow you to get Tasman Blue with the Caraway Interior, (newer version of the Vintage tan). Has anybody else run across this, we'll be checking with my local dealer tomorrow and we'll post back.

 

Quite a few things have changed for 2025.
For instance
ln the U.K. you can no longer order the "base" specification and the cheapest is now the "S" at an extra £6,000

 

It crushes me the limited options and how difficult they make it to get Tasman Blue. I've been trying to configure my next one to have the features I want and it is insane the choices you have to make to keep it. Good luck with getting it dialed in, the Tasman Blue is one of the few colors "I wish" I had gone with. Don't get me wrong, the Hibachi Silver (spelling intentional) works for me - but I have a place in my heart for a good 'ole blue Defender.

 

I just ordered a 2025 Tasman Defender to replace our chip-shortage 2023. I went with black interior since it shows dirt and grime the least. Also decided to try the leather upgrade this time. Years ago I had an Audi with beige interior and blue jeans would often leave marks on the light leather seats that were difficult to get out.

 

Love my Tasman/vtan combo.

 

I have that on my Khaki seats right now, and my wife's 2019 MB with bone-white interior really does.
