Default 21 D90 Gremlins...Anyone else?

Hey out there,
Just thought I would ask to see if anyone else here is experiencing the same issues I've been having.
I've been lucky enough to own quit a few rovers in the past and present without the troubles I've seen out there.....Until now!
I bought a new 21 D90 around 2 months ago and have been pestered by electrical/system issues. Here is a list:
1. Pivi Screen goes scrambled, then pink, like a plug was pulled
2. Pivi screen overlaps a home screen with map screen and strobes like a disco
3. Dash cluster blinks anytime the channel is changed on the Pivi
4. Pivi system completely turns off, but you can control the stereo via the dash cluster menu
5. Cruise control dumps you out of it for no reason then dash lights up with unavailable options.
I have logged every issue with pics and have been working with my dealership closely.
To date it's been in 5 times for updates and attempted fixes...
A tech case was created this Monday with JRL and an engineer has determined that it needs a new control module and a new pivi cable.
I really hope this works.

Sorry to hear that. My neighbor 4 houses up got the first 90 in Atlanta, last April or May. Beautiful Pangea truck, but she’s had a crapload of trouble, she was telling me last week. She asked what I thought about the 6 recalls and I scrunched my brow and looked at her quizzically — I’ve had zero recalls/TSBs that I’m aware of on my 22 110. She still loves it but they’ve offered her 10k more than she paid and she’s considering selling it back to them.

The bad thing is they have no actual idea when the parts are coming....I'm not surprised by this though! It's just the world we are in now.

If they have it nailed to a controller and cable I would seriously trust them. Most of these gremlins have a software problem causing them. Yours sounds well beyond those. I was thinking flood damaged or something. If they have it diagnosed, that's the major hurdle. Now for the patience that is tough. You may ping Parts-Link on e-bay or another parts salvage group. They may be able to provide you a temporary cable (if lucky). The controller may be imprinted to your VIN in which case, no go until the actual part comes in.

reading these posts while waiting for my D90x is nerve wracking - although highly informative and helps to manage my expectations..

I had a lot of issues with mine when I first received it, all ones commonly mentioned here. They were fortunately all able to be fixed in a single trip to the dealer.

So. Now they think it is the brake pedal module controller! What that would have to do with the pivi I have no idea.....A new module was installed yesterday.
If anyone with this knowledge can enlighten me that would be great. This is a continuing case started with JRL.
I'll keep you posted
