Default 22 inch? Yes or No?

Need a 110 X Dynamic SE. What is the consensus on the 22inch wheels with the Air Suspension? Any complaints? Or the way to go?

Thanks for any feedback.

My advise would be based solely on how you plan to use it? The more time off road the more I would suggest 20” or smaller wheels.

Thanks, little or no offroad for now. Will buy cheap 20s if offroading in the future, no need to scratch up nice rims. Nice, smooth roads in Texas.

Then I would go with the gloss black 5098’s 22”. Why? They look awesome.

Agree, shame they don't make those in a 20's.

They wouldn’t look as good in my opinion. The defender rides so good that the 22’s won’t matter. I had a D90 with 20’s and 110 with 22’s. Ride seems the same. The 90 had coils and the 110 has air.

22’s- they just fit the large body of the defender better

Yeh, the side of the Defender is one big slab. Agree.

top pick is my current aftermarket 22’s and bottom aftermarket 20’s. The 20’s wheel design does make it look smaller but overall 22’s fill in the wheel well much better.

i ended keeping both sets. the 20’s for the 1-2 days a year i go to the local off road park. 22’s have AT and can handle everything else

Nice wheels. I noticed you have the V8 with the blue calipers. If that is the case, do you mind sharing the brand of your 20" wheels and tire size information and where you purchased them from. Also, did you have to make any adjustments to the front and rear calipers with the aftermarket 20 wheels? I have been wanting to get 20 wheels with snow tires for my V8 Carpathian Edition for a while now but just have not pulled the trigger yet.
