Default 22 Trophy (new home)

Hi all!

A Trophy Ed. 110 has found a new home!

Long, long story.... Been lurking here for awhile and have had my eye on the new Defender for about 2.5 years. I didn't pounce on the Trophy when it was new as it has 19" wheels and no 3rd row/trunk cooling (we have dogs). Then COVID and supply chain issues hit, so I was holding out for a custom build (18", no sunroof, 3rd row cooling, and a few other things). The online configurator nixed that idea, since everytime I used it, more options disappeared, or were only available on the high end spec'ed ones. So just over a year ago I ended up putting in an order for an 110 X (20", 3rd row cooling, IDD, sunroof), thinking I'd be happy with the mix of what I wanted and what I have to have. That finally landed in mid-April, had everything from my build spec, except it had the analogue cluster. (I've ranted about it before) I just can't stand the mix of the LCD and analogue, specially how the tacho is. Ended up passing on it, and going to the back of the queue, hoping supply chain would sort itself out in another 6 months. The local dealer rang a few weeks ago saying they got this Trophy in and was I interested. Ends up, yes, I was!

So with just over 8k miles, 1 owner, first sold in Hanover, MA (is the original owner on here?). There is now another Trophy Ed. in Colorado!

Here are some crappy photos of it arriving home. Will post some better ones soon, and of course some when it is not on pavement.

Note, I've got to figure out if I can get it under that branch and into the carport!

Does it come with air suspension? If so, have you tried switching to "access height" and see if it clears?

Ha ha! I ended up trimming the bits that were growing downwards. Pretty sure there would be stern words from the wife if I pulled out the chainsaw on this tree!

Yeap. That's exactly what I did. Locked access height, is actually pretty low, considering how tall the Defender is.

Yes I really like the locked access height feature as I use it often getting in and out of parking garages with low clearance as well as clearing low hanging branches in the countryside.

Don’t mind me asking, but how much did you pay for it? I have a Trophy and thinking of selling it. Land Rover dealership offered me 78 grand for mine.

I paid US$86k (85,995) before tax. There are a couple others around the US with CPO:
  1. Seattle/Lynnwood
  2. Carlsbad
See if you can use them as comparables.

Seems like I will need to. The stupid Amazon delivery driver hit the tree and took the branch out.
