Default 30th Anniversary Edition now in the BaT Cave

Well, this didn't take long to appear for sale. Not sure why they chose BaT, but that venue does see some pretty high rollers. Lets see where this one ends up.

Wow the comments are overwhelmingly negative on there. I will say though, the special editions on the defender that keep popping up seem to not sell well, the 30th anniversary in particular. I saw First Editions sit for about a year, and Trophy and Trek editions sit for quite some time as well. 30th anniversaries were the worst of the the bunch though. Only special edition that sold extremely well were the Bond 007’s, but then again the US barely got any of them.

Not sure if I particularly see them as negative. Most of them are the normal chatter found here on that "Special Anniversary" as well. Nice truck but trying to flip it on BaT may be an interesting exercise. Sadly, I think the secondary market on L663 Defenders is starting to soften.

Jeez, not even $10K over what my local dealer was selling one for. I like Tasmin blue way too much.

I follow BaT for some other vehicles, they tend to either not sell or get waaaaay over market for most of their cars. That said, they do tend to get really interesting vehicles.

I love my Tasmin Blue. I get lots of compliments about it. I’ve gotten more comments on mine than on any other car and I have owned a lot of cars.

Yeah like I said, they weren’t all that popular, and $10k above msrp is actually quite low for any used defender. I got $9k over on my 90 S that was $59k msrp and had almost 16k miles on it.
