Thinking about taking out the 3rd row seats in my 7 seater 110 X. Have read threads / read service manual / watched a YT vid or two with various aspects of the removal and it looks simple.. but the question remains, what does one do to create a floor + make best use of the hole.

Will the 110 P400 MHEV floor panel & foam tool holder from a 5 seater fit and simply install in the hole I'm left with? Anyone tried this yet? I do realize the size panel plastics are a bit different for the 5 & 7 seaters...but this would be super easy if they drop in.

And I can fit in the above pieces, does this thing fit? Expensive NDM piece that I could get a cheap knockoff of on AliExpress

 

@nashvegas Did you ever pull the 3rd row? If you did, what did you do with the hole?

I used to have a 5-seater 110 which JLR replaced. Although I am grateful to JLR, I have missed the extra space under the floorboards ever since.
