Oil change, air filters and a brake flush. Looks like it's an extra grand for that $50 engine air filter.

These are fun, easy services to do with a couple of cold ones in the peace and quiet of your own garage/ fortress of solitude. You get to keep all the engine bay clips too, when you do stuff yourself.

My third service is penciled in for 35,000miles in 3k.

YMMV

I agree, oil change & oil filter is so easy to do yourself. (And I'm not going with that 21K interval). Engine air filter can't be too difficult either,

I bet by 45k or 50k miles I'll need new brakes and I'll just have then do the brake fluid flush when they do the new brakes.

Just did first oil and filter change at 9k, the old fashioned way, dropping the skid plates and replacing the drain plug and crush washer. Then changed out the engine air filter and cabin air filter. They both took all of 15 minutes. No way I would pay the dealer those criminal rates for such a simple job.

I just picked up my P400/SE from my independent shop. Labor and shop materials for the 42k service came to $183. Add to that the $240 I spent on oil and filters, the total came to $423. Note, I did not have the brake fluid flush done - my feeling is that as long as the fluid is clean, this needs to be done every 2 years.

Speaking of brakes, after 40,000 miles of which 10k have been towing a 6,100 lb trailer, I still have 8mm of pads left. I've read on this forum that some folks are getting brake work done as early as 20k. Based on what's going on, I should be able to get well past 80k before this maintenance is needed. I guess I've got more highway miles. I can assure everyone that I do use my brakes.
