I was able to get ACC activated using the Autosvs JET PRO using the 3-day demo license. I also enabled dynamic mode and a couple other features.

Originally I used a cable that I had for an F series BMW coding, but that gave me errors. I switched to this cable and also switched laptops and ensured that the car battery was well charged. One or a combination of those things cleared up the problem.

Is there a step by step walkthrough of the process anywhere? One that caters for the dumb-as a-box-of-rocks contingent like myself a close friend of mine.

I've got the GAP tool and the idiot proof instructions for its activations were very useful. ACC is the last nut to crack. Seems like you and other smart cookies have cracked it. Well done.

Yeah I've seen that thread. It says it can be done but not how. I really need to see what boxes or CCFs need ticking and changing.

I need it real slow and basic. Do A, then B then C, D etc ..... then laugh as you cruise off into the sunset.

 

Here are the steps I took to activate ACC on my 2022 Defender 110 (as best I can remember)

1. order the cable from Amazon.

   Cable
   wait for it to come
2. Order the software. Software. Select the Car Owner 1-VIN
3. You should get an email confirming order. Check spam folder if you don’t see it
4. Use the help bubble on the web site to connect to Gary on WhatsApp and request temp login code
5. disable virus detector on your laptop I. Windows security settings
6. download the JET Pro Installer using the link on the orders page
7. unzip the folder
8. run the installer using windows run command. You may need to run as administrator
9. Copy the install key from the file in the unzipped folder
10. paste it into the pop up window
11. press install. jet pro icon should be on your desktop
12. add a virus detector exclusion for the jet pro exe file in window security settings
13. Start the jet pro software
14. enter the login code given by Gary. You now have 72 hours to complete the task
15. You should see the menus.
16. plug in OBD cable and plug in Ethernet to laptop
17. press ign button on car but don’t put foot on brake
18. Press connect. You should see screen like this with green circle

19. check that the battery voltage in upper right is green. If not, disconnect and run engine for a while to charge battery
20. Go to CCF Brushing menu

21. Press Read CCF
22. Press script list. You’ll see screen like this

23. select 17 for ACC. You may need 18 if yours is prior to MY 2022
24. press OK. The script should run
25. press exit
26. Press write current data. The car will make lots of flashes and noises. Check that there are no write errors
    
27. go to Main menu
28. select CCF Memory
29. select first menu item,DADC
30. Select second menu item, IGM
31. Go to DTC menu, select read DTC, then Clear DTC
32. when complete, go to main menu and disconnect
33. unplug cable
34. turn off ignition
35. lock car for 10 minutes

I wonder is this the type of solution the good folks at GAP Diagnostics have been working on getting to gel with their IID tool.

 

I hope the gap tool guys can come up with a solution I would love to have ACC. Got me a gap tool today from Lucky 8.

I did mine a few weeks ago and figured it out with the help of a user on the defender UK forum. It’s not the easiest software to use but is also difficult to screw things up.

they allegedly have auto parking working on some vehicles but I havent heard of anyone successfully activating it with this tool. I would avoid that option if having a not-working app on your PIVI would bother you (mine crashes when opened).
