Activations including active cruise for the Northeast
Needing to take another trip to Bedford NH in the next couple weeks. I am going to offer some software unlocking for the area. I can make some stops along the way up and back. Please PM me if interested
The Defender is new to me and I have been watching a bunch of the Hunters Prestige videos They are aways doing activations as part of their upgrades. I have a 2022 X Dynamic Se. I really don't know anything about these activations. Can you do a summary or explain how I might learn what activations might benefit my Defender? Also, what is an activation? Is it software in place that is dormant? Why does this exist? What is the cost associated with doing this?

While I don't want to misspeak or give you any bad information, I had him do the activations on my 2021 Defender and it was worth the 4.5 hour drive each way for me when I had it done.
I gave him my VIN number and he was able to provide me with a list of items that he could unlock/activate. This included dynamic mode, in car hotspot wifi, permanent auto on/off selection, and quit a few other goodies that are options when purchasing the car, that are just suppressed unless you initially select them when building/ordering.
Land Rover told me it was 100% impossible to get or even upgrade to in car hotspot/wifi, I was willing to upgrade with them and they said it just wants possible, but with the activations it made it possible.
This was my experience with him, again I don't want to misspeak but the investment was WELL WORTH it on the upgrades I got on my Defender from it. Takes about 30-45 minutes at most I believe too.
