Default Aftermarket integrated dash cam? Anyone install one?

So they have these dash cams that look pretty integrated but wondering if anyone has installed one or similar? The can be found on Amazon or Ebay for around $200 or same ones on Aliexpress for half. I know they are chinese items but willing to give them a shot but wondering if anyone else has tried them and has actual pics installed.

This site has an install video. It seems to be the one everyone else is selling. Has decent reviews and it's tough to beat the factory look of the installation.

I have one of these on my F150 Lightning, it works very well and was easy to install. The only minor thing is if you're using WiFi for wireless CarPlay then you need to disconnect from that to access the Fitcamx' own wifi network to view/download recordings.

Not the "OEM variant", but here's a thread of the version I did. Link. I went with this one because it had both a front & rear camera. Good luck!

I just installed the PowerfulUK BlackVue 520 this weekend. Was easy and works well.

The videos that I have found all appear to be something different as far as vehicle (not defender). But for the price, Im going to order one and will report back. It may be a while as Im going to order from Ali Express for half the price.

I got one off AliExpress 2 years ago, install was easy, it's been working great. I made a post about it on here at the time with install pictures and stuff. I was so impressed I got one for my other car too.

FitCamX works well for me. I got the 4K front only version.

It's literally a 10 second install unless you don't find the rain sensor connection.

The software is a bit clunky, but how often do you use it? I have had zero uses after 3 months. It works!

@Ratledge Yeah these are all basically the same camera from china re-branded and re-priced. From the pictures on FitCamX's website, the defender version looks Identical to the ali-express one I got 2 years ago, same led indicators and buttons. Just make sure you scan the product page carefully and get the one with the latest chip

The best part with FitCamX is that it is completely invisible except for the camera bulges out slightly more than the piece over the sensors & camera at the top of the windshield.

Mine came from AliEx and in early September and has the latest chipset.
