I get the normal map on the center display, I can choose dark/day or auto.

But on the interactive driver display, the map always displays in dark mode.
I would prefer to use the onboard nav instead of this, as one option, but I have to go in and turn off android auto.

Does anyone know how to change the map display day/night on interactive screen.
This happened a couple updates ago and I have been trying to figure it out, but can't.

 

Is already discussed before, bug in Android auto.
