One of the coolest tech features, the Interactive Driver’s Display, has been dropped. I test drove one and loved the satellite view - it was like you were flying an airplane.

On a 2023? Are you talking about the full Nav screen on the behind the wheel screen? We have it on our 2022. I hope that’s not gone for my 2023 build.

There are a lot of settings disappeared, what I miss most is the possibility of satellite view on the IDD and maps 2D/3D on the middle screen.

yes, that is gone. And I’m sure it’s a hardware (chip) thing, so not upgradable in the future.

They list the interactive as an option on the Discovery but on our 23' Disco the dealer said they can't guarantee it will be built with it because of the shortage. I told them we would refuse delivery, never got a definitive answer probably because it hasn't been allocated a slot yet.

Someone has posted on a facebook forum they saw Defenders on the last week with Analog display with digital center.

You might want to check in with your dealer if your MY 23'

I definitely will, I also need to clarify that I am in line for an allocation so no build slot yet. I will probably change my mind if it’s not available. This feature is common on Benz, BMW and Audi. Having a Rover without it seems like a bad idea. I think I also read that the camera operates rear view mirror had also been cut. Strike 2 if so.

For 2023, 110 SE and higher trim will have interactive driver display and the 11.4" screen will be standard on all models.

I was told by my sales rep that if it is standard equipment on your build the TFT display will be there. I assume that with the clear sight mirror being an option on my build that I may not get it.

I am working under an assumption that jumping from and HSE to an X (and the 20k that goes with it) means that some of the features will be prioritized and retained in the higher / more expensive trim. Can anyone validate this?
