have both a v8 defender and new v8 sport in the garage. the new sport is a very refined and feels basically like a full size. Luxurious in every way, very quite cabin and a far superior engine to the 5.0 v8. The new sport lost some of its “sport” characteristics like previous generations and i would say the only negative if that mattered to you

That being said i love my Defender. For my purposes it checks all boxes. When people ask me about the Defender my short and general description “a very nice truck”
