Default In-App Spotify and Tunein will not open

Hi,

Just checking to see if anyone else is having an issue with the In App Spotify and TuneIn not opening. It was working like a week ago and I cant seem to open either apps, they seem to be greyed out. I tried deactivating and reactivating the Spotify app but no luck. I'm in the SoCal area just checking if anyone else has this issue.

Reboot your PiviPro. That usually does the trick for me.

Hello LA_G,
I am yet to take delivery of my 110, and I’m trying to work out the benefits of adding the annual data package or using my phones data.
Are you using your phones data plan for the in app Spotify/TuneIn? Or do these only work with the data plan. Of course there is always the apple play that can be used.
I must admit, that I am struggling to see the benefits of the data plan.
If you can shed any light on the subject, I would appreciate it.
I too am in SoCal.

@SPiNY - Never added the data plan. Saw it as a waste of money. I use my phone. I have dual sims on my iPhone. One is Verizon, one is T-mobile. However, I think most of what I need is already thru the data plan that comes with the car. The "Annual Data Package" is actually (I believe) if you want to add a hot spot within your Defender. There are two sims in it already: one for telematics and one for apps/nav excetera. Both of those are on "gratis" for the first 2 years. Haven't heard from anyone with a first year Defender (L663) yet, so not sure what the cost is when they expire.

So to date, I've not needed it for anything as I don't need a hotspot within my ride.

It stopped working for me about 10 months ago….
or os 2

CarPlay works fine though.

I found that logging out and back into your land rover account through the pivi system fixed this for me.
