Question Apple Maps on IDD

Apologies if this was answered elsewhere, tried searching and couldn't find much.

Just took delivery on a new MY24 within the past week, have the full interactive driver display but cannot for the life of me get a non-Pivi map to show on it. Everything else seems to be working great after some initial MY24 InControl activation hiccups that the dealership finally figured out after experimenting on one of their own cars for a while. iPhone and Pivi are both updated (I'm taking the Pivi's word on it because it has the fresh from factory blank current update number bug).

Is there some buried setting I need to tweak? Otherwise I guess I'll reach out to the dealership and see how annoying the fix is (assuming they even know how).

It's most likely still on a previous version. Although mine was a 23.5, it did not get 4.0.0 till recently.

Makes sense, I appreciate it. I assume I just keep driving it around and it will eventually decide it wants to update, no way to force it?

I've had mine for about 2 weeks now. It was the same way, hadn't been given 4.0 when I took delivery and it took about a little over a week to get the notification of the available download. There is no way to push it manually. if your about a week in, it shouldn't be much longer. 8-10 days is about the going census.

If you are signed in to your InControl account, sign out in the vehicle then sign in again.

This has helped push updates in my 2020 model that seemed to be lagging.

Can I ask you how you sign out in the vehicle? My car is connected to my InControl App, but I see nothing in the menu structure that allows me to sign the vehicle out and back in from the car itself. Perhaps I am misunderstanding this? Thanks
