Default ARB Linx

Is anyone using one of these on their 2020+ Defender? Looking for thoughts and resources specific to the Defender to see if this is a good option. I can always figure it out on my own but figured I would see if others have already done it and solved issues such as module placement.

Outside of LINX what is being used? I have looked at several trigger set ups and remote switch options. I tried searching on here but was not finding anything. Looking for recommendation and to see what others are using to control their accessories.

I use the Switch-Pros AP-9100 panel to control my accessories (light and air compressor...so far)

Saltek Motorsports makes an perfect mount for our Defenders, very high quality super sturdy, simple/clean install, and the cubby is still usable.

Thanks for the reply and pictures. I really like your roo bar setup. I am installing the Lucky8 stealth winch Mount in hopes they release their bull bar soon. The stealth Mount is required to Mount the bull bar. I want to add a light bar to it same as you have. My ditch lights will be here next week so need to decide what I am doing. Switch pros looks nice though I have really been leaning towards wireless just so I don’t have to run a wire through the firewall. It in the end I want a great setup so if I need to run a wire for the controller I will.

I also like your back up light addition. Or at least I think that is what I am seeing? Can you provide further information on those?

Thanks, I installed the AU Bullbar and winch myself and did all of the electrical, I really enjoy modifying vehicles.

I secured the lights with large Stainless Steel fender washers and bolts with nylon locking nuts. I did have to poke holes in the liner to attach the lights…basically sandwiched the liner in between two fender washers.

I ran the wires under the hood liner (secured with heat resistant ducking tape) to the battery terminal under the hood, grounded at a factory underhood location.

Made a decision now I just need to get it all installed. Went with the sPOD Bantamx touch screen model. After all the reading and looking decided the Bluetooth only options are not reliable enough. So I will be doing a standard through the firewall control wire. It arrived today and looks very nice. Will see how it is once fitted.

The install is done. Ditch lights hooked up and working. Will add other lights as projects move along. As stated before I decided to go with the sPOD Bantamx with the touch screen controller. I considered several mounting option but in the end decided to use the Saltek switch pros Mount. I figure I could modify it some and make it work. In the end it worked great. Had to modify both mounts in the kit. Not perfect but it doesn’t show so it doesn’t matter. Wiring lights to the Bantamx is a little tight but once they are all done I don’t anticipate meeting in it all the time so tight isn’t a huge deal.
