Default Before and after Sarek coil spring lift!

As requested, the Sarek coil spring lift kit on a completely stock truck. We did install 275 60 r20 BFG KO2s in addition to the lift. The specs on the rear springs are +2" with 750# of added load. The front springs are +1.5" with 250# of added load. We had the factory coil springs tested and calibrated to determine factory rates. We then requested the additional height and load while maintaining the factory ride quality. As you can see with a completely empty vehicle with no accessories, there will be some additional height in the rear. Once the vehicle is loaded up with gear accessories and so on, we did not want that squat in the rear. The ride quality is fantastic while achieving very good lift. We offer the springs installed at Sarek Autowerke located in Richmond Virginia with multiple color choices available and custom height and load options. This client chose green.

The other option to get a set of these coils (black color only) with the specs listed above, shipped to your door or to a service shop of your choice is thru Lucky 8! They will be our distributor for this lift kit.

Further proof that Land Rover screwed the pooch when they elected to not fit 33" tires to the Defender as standard.

SAREK:

Just checking: There is no Adaptive Damping included when the coil version of the truck is ordered, correct? So no airbags AND no magnetic shock absorber fluid, right?

You are the best person to ask, as you have been up-close and personal on this one.

(I am still stinging from my lack of awareness as to JLR's definition of "adaptive dynamics". That critical topic is soft-peddled in their sales documentation IMO).

Thanks!

Correct. 2 options are coil springs with standard dampers and air suspension with edc dampers.

How close were you able to get the alignment to spec after the spring install?
