Thanks. Yes, I got it from PowerfulUK. I chose the one without the graphics cutout for a cleaner look, but I was on the fence for awhile, they both are eye-catching. I followed his video for the installation, had my girlfriend help me; the more hands the better. It was fairly easy, I always find patience prevails. But it is definitely a DIY, took about an hour. To this day, I can look at it from every angle, level of light, inches away and find it to be wrinkle and bubble free.

 

Guys, Newdefenderparts webstore has remained closed for the last couple months. It's really bad timing for me since I am taking delivery next week, and I cannot get my hands one the side steps. Anyone has experience with the black side steps from other venders, such as powerfuluk or vulkan? Seems like both them offer similar products with reasonable price.

 

Vulkan side steps are great. Have bought many products and they are fantastic.

I think Powerful Uk and NDP got the side steps from Vulkan too.

There are several sellers of the black side steps on Amazon for just under $400. They are probably all manufactured by just a couple of fabricators, so should be similar fit and finish.

 

Do you have the Vulkan side step? Just need to confirm how is the fitment.

I bought the Vulcan side steps with “Defender” on them. I don’t know how they got away with that but they look great with zero fitment issues.

 

yes, they fit perfectly. No issue and I have the black brackets as well.
