Hi all. Anyone using a MagSafe dock that they like? I have a Belkin one that attached to the a/c vents in my previous car that I really like, but it doesn't fit on my new Defender. Thanks!

 

Been looking for one myself. I had the same one as you in my old Range. No good solutions from what I've seen.

I probably personally wouldn't go with it since i have the extended leather, and wouldn't want to potentially indent/damage it.

 

This looks pretty solid, but you’re right..wouldn’t want to cause an indentation on the leather on the bars. Maybe just gotta be happy with CarPlay and put the phone off to the side somewhere. Apple CarPlay and the Bluetooth connectivity are really great.

 

I use Apple CarPlay for everything and along with the OEM wireless charging its works for me. I have plenty of USB-C to lightning cables in the vehicle if I need a quicker charge, but haven't used them yet.

Wow! had no idea I had Wireless Apple CarPlay. This is life-changing lol. Was wondering if I’d ever use the wireless charging pad haha. Now it all makes sense. Thank you!

Really good spot next to the screen, doesn’t seem like it will indent any of the leather since it hinges underneath the bars (watch the installation videos)

 

@nnittay Your ambient lights seem way brighter than mine - I can barely even tell mine are on half of the time.

 

Haha, this is not mine, it’s from a review on the website. I didn’t even notice ambient lighting in mine. Wonder if we can toggle ours lol
