Are you able to slide your non-OEM rack anywhere on the roof rails? Or does it mount only in the designated slots like the LR rack does?

The standard Thule bars (non-oem) can be moved pretty much anywhere you want except for directly in the openings that are in the rails for the oem bars. I actually switched to a voyager rack so I need to sell my Thule bar set up.

Could you put the Thule Sliding ski rack on voyager rack?

Just came across this - has anyone else seen this?

https://www.myersandco.com/ski-racks/

These racks look cool for short distances to/from ski mountain. i wonder if they make them so they could open in the opposite direction from the pictured G wagon.

I got the whole Thule set up (Thule towers + aero bars + snow pack ski holders + Thule step up).

But I want to see if I can get away with putting the skis in the back so I don't have to climb up there to load and unload.

So I might be selling the entire kit that's brand new in boxes...

Sure. The Thule speedlink grabs right onto any round bar. I can even twist them down a bit when not in use to improve aerodynamics and reduce noise.

I have one similar to it and they are great. Mine was made out of welded steel bu the same people that make the racks for the shuttle bus, gondolas etc. I only use it for about 3 miles from my cabin to the lift area. Fits in my hitch receiver.
