Default BFG Trail Terrain T/A experiences?

think i narrowed it down to with the BFG Trail Terrains or the Nitto Terra Grappler. Both are in the same class of mild all terrain but not much first hand reviews on the BFG

i like that the shoulder lug is one sold piece. should mean a smoother and quieter ride

looking for a tire than is going to be use 95 percent on road with little off-roading. They will be sitting on a set of aftermarket 22’s

anybody running the BFG’s

The BFG used to be my hands down favorite it's a great tire. I had fantastic luck with them in all seasons on road and for lots of fun off road. I recently got to experience Nitto Ridge Grapplers on two different vehicles on and off road in all weather and they were amazing. Run them on my Land Rover now.

The BFG is a solid choice with good performance you won't go wrong with them.

the most common BFG is the K02 and actually running those currently. But i am looking into their new tire the trail terrain which is a mile all terrain.

i really like the look of the Ridge Grapplers but i won’t be off roading with the 22’s and the small side side wall and very aggressive sidewall nubs looks a little strange

I have the Trail-Terrain in 22". Love the smooth ride on road and the purposeful look. Yes I have no plan going off-road with this car so I see no plan going with the All-Terrain so the Trail-Terrain suits my need perfectly. Go for it!

appreciate the post. this is exactly what i was looking for. Love the Kahn wheels

is there a reason you went with 275 or 285. Keep the oem tire specs?

i am debating between 285/45/22 or 305/45/22. the 305 would put me closer to a 33 inch but i will prob need an additional .5 inch lift

went with OE sizing since the tire already made a huge visual difference from stock tire so no reason to go bigger.

Yes I’m in US. I had my shop guy reached out to them. Not the easiest to get a hold of and not great stock level either. Send me a PM I can see if I can help.
