So I ordered a 110 X in April with scheduled delivery next month. My dealer had a Carpathian Edition show up with Vintage Tan interior. Went to go look at it today and fell in love. Vintage tan was a must for me and what I had ordered on the X. Saw the full vintage tan interior and the sound of the meaty V8 and I was sold.
I figured better buy a V8 before the government outlaws them.
I also picked up my Defender P525 CE, it has been a long process. I placed the order in February and just took delivery last week, The delivery was held up due to the stop sale order from the EPA. My wife drives a P400 X Defender, When comparing the trucks you can feel a difference in handling as well as acceleration. The P400 is adequate but the P525 is fun, feels more stable and more responsive. The P400 has some lag during acceleration and is not as linear as the V8. The wait and cost are worth it, get one while you can
I like it, it is very dark. My wife has Carpathian Gloss on her P400 X, while mine is the matte finish. The rood and hoods are black so you there is a difference but from a distance one may thing the car is black
I do like the Carpathian grey. It’s a little darker than I wanted, but that’s only because my last two cars were dark grey. I wanted an diver grey X, but that color was discontinued so I ended up order silicon silver fo the X. However the full vintage tan interior and the V8 is better than a lighter paint color. its a beast and sounds mean.
