It's time to change the pads and rotors on my 2022 110 P300 S, and I could use some help/advise. I have done loads of other vehicles in the past.
It has the factory 18" steel wheels (I ordered it that way).
I already purchased OEM pads, rotors, brake pad wear sensors, and rotor retaining bolts for the brake job.
I'm confident I can get the fronts done. However, I am concerned about the rear electronic parking brake disengagement, as I don't have a JLR approved diagnostic equipment to activate the Integrated Power Brake assembly mode.
First put it in maintenance mode, search how .
You will have to do it with trial and error but it works.
You get a message caution EPB not working when done correct
To get it out same operation in reverse
If you find a way to engage service mode without a diagnostics tool like GAP I'd love to know.
I changed my brake-fluid some months back and without selecting service mode there is a small off-shoot of the brake system that doesn't get bled without. I need to get myself one.
You can put it in service mode via the app. Though I don't know if that is the same thing that is needed for the brake.
I can't seem to find that in the app.
I know PowerfulUK discussed doing something to the alarm in service mode to stop theft warning being activated when the battery is disconnected. The service mode for brakes has to do with opening up some valves to the ABS unit I believe. (Is ABS unit a thing?, Maybe not)
It is kind of hidden. Click on "more", lower right in the app. Then on "vehicle settings" right below the vin number near the top. This is on the android app, not sure if apple is different.

Got it thanks. I wonder will that do the change I need for brake flush. It states it's for programming a new key. I wonder will it do what I need for the brake bleeding or what the OP is doing. Sounds like it might.

I do not plan on putting it in "service mode" via the app, but will be putting the EPB in service mode using the following procedure:
From my understanding from reading the service manual, I will not need to put it in service more from the app. We will see...(waiting on the parts to arrive...I'll update my progress.
