Hello all,

Trying to post some pics of my newly painted bumbers but it doesn’t show on the thread. Maybe because I just registered yesterday and the vetting process is not through yet ?

There it is, before and after pics of my P300 with non-extended black pack. Didn’t like the black Defender lettering on black hood and the light grey bumbers. I chose something a little darker and warmer than the company color Shadow Atlas grey.

I like it a lot. I think it brings the design together.

Brilliant improvements! Well done and a great looking Defender!!

Wish we could have swapped the horizontal trim that goes around the Land Rover logo! I'm trying to change mine to a black shade and you just switched yours to a silver shade...

Thank you GrouseK9,

Yes if I had known I would have made the exchange with you since I had it painted anyways. But you know you could also have yours painted black easily. I just went to my local paint shop and they did the whole work for 800$ (CAD). I saw the guy take the horizontal trim off completely so there was no tape involved in the process, very clean job.

Hi there - the part numbers are noted in the images. Hope this helps. All parts were ordered by my dealer through JLR - I got an email to say all parts would be delivered by end of April, so it then goes in to have them installed, along with painting front and rear bumpers gloss black. Then its on to PPF and some black out wrap for the A pillar, window panels and arch lights. Pics to follow.

Question: When they paint your bumpers and grill, do they paint your parking sensors as well?

Yes, the parking sensors get painted black at the same time.

Can I ask how much it cost to get the two bumpers painted?
