I got the book when I took I took delivery of my Defender 3 weeks ago. It came in a fancy black sack and also had a Land Rover Leatherman-like multi-tool thingy in it. The package was in a white foam bag with a part number on it. I think all Canadian vehicles (at least '23's) came with it.

I‘m very happy about your posts about this book.. that lead me right into ordering one. It arrived today and with having just a first look into it, I‘m already loving it. So many interesting details about the heritage, the engineering and what I love the most, pictures of prototypes and sketches for exterior and interior as well! Couldn’t do myself a better Christmas present. Thanks to all for sharing!
I think everyone, who’s passionate about the or their L663, might love it

Consistency with Gifts
I just picked up my Defender 90 (which I LOVE) and the gifts were wine and two glasses and two keychains in a gift box but no book but because I know two others that picked up their Defenders and got books I asked for one. I don't think they were happy to give it to me but I got it, it didn't come in a nice bag though so maybe wasn't new? Anyway doesn't matter, it's a great book and everyone that buys a Defender should get one if they want it, I would have been thrilled if I only received the book. It would be nice if there was some kind of consistency with gift giving throughout all the dealerships or at least province/state wide.
