I did not check lease on my last defender but on the first two it was not attractive at all. Maybe I will change my tune when I go to sell but so far it has worked out well.

LR has never had attractive leases, nor has Porsche Financial. Most upscale cars and even higher trim levels of everyday cars lease poorly, plus leasing has become very restrictive in terms of selling the car to a private party. I buy now!

I used to lease my vehicles. I would get a new one every 4 years and viewed ownership as an operational cost so whatever method, lease or loan would give me the lowest month payment is what I went with. However, I was always underestimating my mileage, or I'd change jobs and the mileage would go up. I was getting killed on the turn-in fees. After being burned 3 or 4 times (yes, I'm a slow learner), I gave up on leasing.
