Default Cargo cover

Anyone else have their cover give up the ghost? Two of the bungee holders have pulled out of their retainers. Looked to see if it’s repairable but looks like it isn’t.

Failed cargo cover bungees.

I haven't yet, but I'll keep an eye out for that.
Should be under warranty, right?

That's my belief. Dealer already owes me a new air intake (P144B fault), I'll have them address this when it goes in for that.

I know this thread is more than a year old, but I have the same issue. Was it in fact covered under warranty?

I never bothered. A few lengths of shock-cord fixed it: take off the plastic bit, pull out the existing shock cord pit in a piece (~12") tie a knot in each end and a hitch in the middle as a grip and it's all done.

I had my Rover in for its first real service (21K mi) and forgot to even mention it.

Same here. I had it in to have the front skid plate installed (because I'm too afraid to remove the bumper while it's under warranty) and totally forgot. I may have to swing by one of these days; I'll keep you posted if I do.

Did you feed the shock cord through the tiny hole or did you remove that insert?

Pull the hard plastic part with the little rubber ring out. I used 1/8" shock cord which with a figure eight or double overhand stopper knot is nice and snug. I'll post a picture when I go back out to the truck.

Disappointing to see, but it should be an easy remedy. Please make a warranty claim. The manufacturer clearly had a build issue here and the cord was not attached correctly.

Mentioned the issue with the cargo cover when dropping off my 110 for the exterior A pillar flapping issue. Was told it’s not covered under warranty due to wear and tear and a replacement is well over $500! I think the only accessory I bought more expensive than this was the front skid plate. Unbelievable.

That's BS. If the truck is under warrantee then that defective part is. His "logic" would apply to every part. He sounds lazy. I'd go right to the service manager then the dealership owner.
