Does everyone else's music default to their phone music when they turn their car on? I'd prefer for the media to default to SiriusXM but I cannot find a way to do that in manual. Any thoughts?

 

I’d like to know how to set it so that music does not come on after any CarPlay interaction. Thanks!

 

You can set up in the car settings not
to automatically connect to CarPlay but I’d still like my phone to connect, just stay on Sirius XM. Highly
annoying you can seem to default set media to a source or at least I couldnt find how to do in the manual. Getting in the car and having to switch over from CarPlay music to Sirius every time I start the car is not efficient.

 

I alternate between the two and it appears that the vehicle just remembers what you were listening to last (when it was shut off).

 

That would make sense but mine moves back to CarPlay most of the time. Quite annoying.

 

My wife likes Sirius but I like CarPlay maps primarily because I like google maps which quickly adjusts to traffic issues. Does the built in Nav adjust to traffic conditions? If so, I’d be ok not connecting CarPlay at all
