Center console with cooler
Hello I am planning on installing my radio in the bottom of the center console and was wondering if anyone has the cooler in there console and has taken it apart to route power and antenna lines through it? I was going to cut a hole in this to recess, the radio back a few inches. And I don’t want to cut anything important. Thank you for your help.

I routed my power, ground, and antenna through the vents in your picture.
I used Lucky8’s method of running wires in the cabin (link below) for the antenna. I routed the antenna cable to the center console by tucking it behind the floor covering sides in the footwell.

I did have to remove the center console side panels to run the antenna cable and power wires. I used the instructions from the PowerfulUK video (link below).

Power/ground go through the center console to the battery compartment under the floor covering and front seat bracket. I taped them to a long zip tie to thread them through. The power is directly connected to the battery using a 5 amp fuse. The ground is attached to a grounding point in the battery compartment.

My GMRS radio is mounted there (well, sitting there). I ran the power wire and antenna wire thru the vent holes in your picture. Thru the vent hole, then over to the drivers side of the console -- as above poster said, just remove the side panel of the console.
I don't think you can get the wires fished under the console or under the fridge, have to go around it.
