Default Anyone had the center console out of their disco II

Im wanting to install my oil pressure guage in the center console behind the shifter where the sticker for the HI-LOW shift pattern is. Does anyone know if there is enough room behind the console directly under the radio for the guage? Thanks for ant help,
John

Thanks. So you think there is enough room for the guage and the wireing? I woild like to do this without taking the console out. Very carefully that is. Has anyone ever seen one mounted here?

you wont be able to do it without taking the console out. you will have to drill thru the console. you can run the wires without drilling the steel backing plate but you will have to drill the rivets out to make it all happen.
