Default CT Carbon Fenders

Curious if anyone here has the CT Carbon kit Apparently there is no rubbing in any mode. Im more interested in how good, or bad, was the fitment of the fenders. Not really a fan of the front splitter. While Id like Dakar fenders, my worry is whenever they finally do become available, will they only fit an Octa.

I do not have this kit but judging by the photos it will fit standard L663's, as that is what is shown in the photo.

Yes this fits standard L663s, I meant the Dakar defender shown in another thread here, which was built off the octa platform, so who knows if those factory land rover fenders will fit standard defenders, or just octa.

Well, that’s interesting. The problem is -let’s say you’re doing this to install 35’s tires. This is pavement princess stuff, not offroading gear. So if you put those front fenders on, I guess you’ve had to also add that front lip which is a no go. Also the rubbing happens inside the wheel well on a metal piece of bracketry on the rear, and up front on the fender liner / cooler relocation.

I don’t think, in other words, the big rubbing problem is the fenders. The problem is other components.

Yeah these dont address any of the issues for running bigger tires. Plus 8k? Hard pass…
