For the sake of the owner here my suggestion is for them to take it to carmax and get a quote. You pay them that quote and be done with it.
Showing the owner what a bunch of folks on a forum think is the right price based on current market conditions will vary wildly.
That's a really bad idea for the OP/Potential Buyer. Carmax is paying ridiculously high prices for vehicles right now. As previously mentioned, in one of my earlier posts, they paid $14,000 over sticker on a MY '21 110 P300..........$57,000 sticker.......paid $71,000 for my vehicle with 8,000 miles. Better if the OP negotiates.

Except Carmax doesn't care for options or trim levels. I am sure if you bring in a Loaded to the gills X the offer will be 75k on a 100k msrp.
The lower end models have sort of reached a "price floor"

yeah Carmax is great for sellers, but as a buyer I’m trying to find the general value of them right now.
from what I’m seeing, cars are being posted for way over MSRP, but a one year old Defender purchased at its MSRP seems to be a “good deal” right now as the previous poster mentioned above…
