Noticed yesterday top section of each side mirror housing (fading / discoloring), phoned LR corporate and LR dealership and no response.

Further inspection also reveals front grill (black) surround that has LR oval also fading / discoloration.

D110 SE is just over 1 year since production

 

Would you be able to take / send some photos here? I looked at a few CPO / used Defenders in the past month and saw similar (and fading on a roof rack and on the accessory side carrier mounting brackets on several).

 

Post some pics if you are able so others can see what's going on. Adding to the list of new Defender problems is always worth sharing. Sorry to hear. Land Rover is likely not going to be much help but keep trying.

 

Also, for interest - do you park it in a garage/carport/cover or is it outside 24/7? Not seeing it as an excuse, just trying to do the mental math re: why it is so crazy short of a time before it's fading.
