Anyone done a wrap or repaint in something like British Racing Green? I'm thinking I'd like to and am curious if it's been done before.

I definitely would tend towards a metallic paint look - is a wrap a reasonable option or should I have a body shop spray it?

@alexb - Definitely want to hear opinions on this. I've seen about 3 different 2020+ Defenders with various green wraps. One in a metallic and a couple in a matte. Both of them are solid improvements (IMHO). I really would have liked a more traditional color palette, but I realize that I'm mid way between "Old Fart" and "Curmudgeon" when it comes to style & taste.

I like the green w/ black. I'm going to have to dig up some pics. I saw a brilliant version of this, but the roof & wheels were ivory. Didn't care for the wheels, but they would have been sweet in classic steelie.

 

I previously had two Range Rover Sports with the metallic Aintree Green and tan leather interior. Always loved this combination and was hoping for something similar for the Defender when I first started looking, but doesn't look to be an option any time soon...so opted for Sandglow yellow and black...lol.

 

The new RR offers Belgravia Green as a standard color. I believe this was called Orchard Green on previous SVU models.

 

That would have been PERFECT! Time to reorder a Defender if they start production with that color! Well, maybe not this soon.

 

Those dark green options are amazing. That would have been my first choice..
