Thanks, goblue21! I have the base ebony interior with 8 way semi powered seats (non-heated). I was concerned with comfort, but actually they feel pretty great. I haven’t gone too far in them yet, but they are comfortable and I have no regrets.

One bonus, at least in my case, is that pulling the seat forward manually is a lot easier and faster then waiting on the power seat to slowly move itself forward. Prior to my D90 arriving, the dealer got a 90 First Edition and I was able to drive it. It had the power memory seats and it felt like it took forever for them to move forward so you could climb in the back.

That's too funny. That's one of the reasons our 7 seater 110 has the non-powered rear seats. We thought it was ridiculous to wait for them. Much easier to manually fold or slide. Even though both back rows are still heated, and the second row is heated and cooled. Don't want to be complete animals lol.

Is there any reason to NOT get the $350 (?) option off-road tires? They look a lot better. But perhaps noise concerns at highway speed? Or replacement cost is far higher than standard?

...also, do you plan to install mudflaps? Just personal preference, I think mudflaps look great on the 90.

Let me take a stab at this.

We were so proud of ourselves spec'ng our a very capable vehicle with the active diffs and all terrain stuff but with the road biased tires. The logic was this vehicle is gonna spend 99% on the pavement and it will be fine for occasional beach or forest trail runs.

Part of this logic was how much louder my more aggressive off-road tires are on my Wrangler.

Then I saw the Pirelli Scorpions we got and thought, uh oh, there's not a lot of tread there.

then I saw the off-road tires and said, man that's reasonable, nothing too aggressive.

Then, and here's the punch line, at just about 2k miles we already got a flat on the Scorpions. And you know how, a friggin piece of driveway gravel.

YMMV, but if I was ordering again, I'd get the off-road tires!

Would you mind detailing MSRP and if you paid MSRP or got a little discount? If that's too personal I totally understand.

My thinking is that if you plan on upgrading to a tire more aggressive than the stock “off road” good years, put that $350 towards your tires of choice. From what I’ve seen, the off road tires for $350 is a great deal and the tire is pretty capable on and off road. Personally, I think all Defenders should come standard with the off road tires. I’m not sure about the replacement cost, but highway noise for me this early on is not an issue. That may change once they wear a little though.

oh the mud flaps are probably in my future! I’ve been undecided, but the more I see the classic mud flaps the more I like them.

Don't mind at all! I did pay MSRP but if I had gone for a 110 I probably could’ve worked out a small discount. I was my dealers first customer order for a 90, so I didn’t even bother trying. Here’s my pricing info from my order sheet.

Very nice! That’s what my 90 wants to be when it grows up 🤣
