Well, not according to Land Rover, at least for the defender. There is also a video on the assembly line at the factory which shows PPF being applied. However, I asked several times of several people and got several answers. I decided to go third party although the LR PPF looks pretty good.

 

Initially the PPF was a port-installed add-on. My friend had his (2020MY) delayed at the at the dealer because they messed up the PPF when it was installed at port. Glad to know they now install it at the factory. It should've been like that from the beginning.
