Defender Engine Fuse Box
Hello,
I am in the process of installing new fog light DRL,s. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a fuse in the engine bay that has power when the vehicle is unlocked, ACC and on. However, it is off when the vehicle is locked. Any suggestions would be of great help.
Thank You.

I found a few that would work, but none of them supply power when the vehicle being unlocked unfortunately. Additionally, I cant find a way to unlock/lock the vehicle with the hood open, so therefore I cant meter the fuses under that circumstance.
You can fool the vehicle into thinking the hood is closed by using a large screwdriver or bar to engage the latch. Look at where the ‘U’ shaped piece on the underside of the hood engages the latch and you can figure out which piece of the latch mechanism accepts the ‘U’ shaped hoop. Push down on that until you feel a solid click, mimicking the hood engaging the latch. That should tell the vehicle that the hood is closed, even when it isn’t.
