Defender: How it's built documentary
35 hours seems crazy short!
A custom build is what 6 months now (after COVID issues). Sure that's getting into the queue en all. But from Lock in date, to build date, then delivery date. 35 hours seems nothing in that process.
It's given me a new perspective on the whole build process.

Nice video, and a very impressive manufacturing plant. The huge robotic body storage facility was particularly amazing.
I was genuinely surprised and impressed with the excellent fit and finish of my new Defender. It's light-years ahead of my two prior LR's. It almost surreal, but I'd say it's slightly better than that of my Audi R8. Good job!
(Now if only the Pivi system was a little more reliable, but I guess you can't have everything.
)

LOL...I remember on both our LR4's, the hood and passenger side front fender fit nicely together but I could fit my fingers between the hood and driver side front fender. It was as if the hood was about 1/2" too wide or the fender was mounted 1/2" too far in. I agree, the Defender panels fit nicely.
