Default Defender Insurance

How much are you all paying for insurance? I have a clean driving record and was quoted $305/month which is a lot better than the $450/month on my BMW M4. I live in Los Angeles which probably means I have to pay a premium, but just curious what others are paying.

I have USAA, (Florida) this is my wifes vehicle and we both have clean driving records, $3100 a year for her 2025 P525 110 and I pay $2100 a year for my 2021 3LT Z51 C8.
Not happy about either, but I'm told if you play you pay. The only problem with that statement is were also paying for all of the uninsured.

My yearly payment is $1462, or $122/month for my 2022 X Dynamic SE 110 with AAA. But keep in mind there many factors which make head to head comparisons difficult. I’m in Florida which is notoriously high, and coverage amounts and deductibles vary between policies. For instance, I have four vehicles, and my homeowners insurance bundled, resulting in a discount across the board. Just consulted my policy for this post and found that I’m paying $315 per year for Uninsured Motorists coverage. Was told by an acquaintance that Florida passed a law allowing those with full medical insurance that they can drop the Uninsured, as the bulk of that premium goes toward medical coverage in the event of injury due to an accident. I will be discussing that with my agent this week, if so that would bring it down to $1147/yr or $96/month.

lt's probably meaningless but l pay £700 (just over $900) per year for the insurance on my D250 Defender.

ln some areas of the U.K. the premiums are four times that price, mainly in cities such as London where a lot of Land Rovers get stolen.

$711 for 6 months - full comp. and collision with $500 deductible ($200 fr glass). $500k bodily injury, car rental and roadside assistance coverage, uninsured motorist up to $500k. $100k liability because I have an umbrella policy.

Clean record (last ticket was 1995), no claims in last 18 years. Low mileage - 6000 a year. Rural Connecticut.

$5,703 a year in Southern California for my Defender only. My record isn't spotless. The wildfires and uninsured motorists don't help here either. My auto and homeowners insurance have gone up every year since 2021, even when there are no claims (home and auto) or points on my license during the 12 months prior to my renewal.

I had a Tesla Model Y prior to the Defender and I honestly thought my insurance would go down since I was getting out of an EV. Nope, instead it went up $1,534 for the year.

I suspect with all of the totaled vehicles from the last 2 hurricanes the rates will go up again next year.
Agreement with your statement on increases, our insurance has also gone up substantially every year since 2021.

You've got the hurricanes and we've got the wildfires.
