My son has and has put together that Lego Defender. It's intense, took quite awhile for him to do, very detailed kit. Fun project.

My daughter and I are working on it right now. It is way more complicated then I expected. But a lot of fun. The drive train actually works. Insane.

Thank you for the link TexasLandmark. I just ordered one.

I expect this will be even more of a fun challenge than the Lego Fire Station and Police Station I helped our kids put together.

Colorado Springs Land Rover gave me one for Christmas!

Took my son and I a few cold day sessions to complete it. The biggest lego set I've ever done, but it is pretty awesome and a blast to put together.

Just put the drive train together on mine and feel like I just took a course in transmission mechanics. Modern automobiles may be marvels of engineering, but this is one crazy complex toy. Somebody at Lego had a lot of fun designing this from the inside out. Now if only could snap on parts like this.

I'm putting a brand new one of these in the for sale section. My dad bought it for me for xmas from a website that accepts no returns and i have a 2 year old and a 4 year old, and no time to assemble 2600 pieces to watch them immediately obliterate a 200$ lego set. PM me if you're looking for one for like ~125$ shipped. I just want to try to get him most of his money back for a gift i can't use. I feel bad

When COVID hit I picked up a kit to do with my kiddos. I videoed each step on large joins. What I can say is that you MUST get the gearing and Differentials correct and exact or you take it back apart again. However, that was a lesson in and of itself to learn how to add the MOTORS to it that you can do and drive it around. This is the COOLEST Lego Kit EVER!!!!
