Does adding a side ladder create excessive wind noise at highway speeds. 2023 Defender 110.

 

I've had the side ladder and the gearbox on my '22 110 for over a year now and haven't noticed any wind noise from them. The side ladder is convenient for loading/unloading items on the roof rack.

No wind noise here either. Very convenient.

 

I too have the side box and ladder on my 110x - haven't experienced any extra / or excessive wind noise as a result. The Roof Rack on the other hand accessed by that ladder on the other hand - yup to wind noise (as expected) and I'm in process of getting a wind damn / Co Fairing Comp as others here have done

 

the CoFaring should come as standard with the roof rack.

 

I have over 60,000 miles on mine and you don't hear any wind noise from the ladder.

 

Has anyone ordered an aftermarket side ladder that is high quality?

 

The wind noise from the rack on top drowns out any possible noise from the ladder or box

 

I installed the ladder today and look forward to a quiet ride with the versatility of having access to the roof. Thanks for your comments.
