Default Defender Trophy Edition

Just got an email from Land Rover about this special edition. It’s based on the P400 X-Dynamic SE. Looks like the color may be a wrap, the interesting thing seems to be a competition open to buyers.

Only 220 of them will be made, but the winch is "subject to limited availability". I guess they are putting in the disclaimer that what you buy may not be what they deliver. I think I've been hearing that lately on these threads...

Just posted this as well.........they can't seem to deliver a simple 90 or 110.....who's going to believe they'll deliver one of these in the foreseeable future???

It just means people who ordered the $68,000 version get bumped so they can pack on a little extra profit. All part of the plan.

It's just a funky wrap applied to a regular black Defender, really.

Sure, pay JLR $90K to buy this edition and you become a rolling advertisement for the Land Rover Defender. Normally sponsors pay the owner to place ads on a vehicle and drive around to be noticed.

With a backlog of 100,000 orders for Defenders, this is like....look a squirrel!

Is it just me or does it have no rear tow hooks, but the bumper cutouts are open?
