Defender X - thoughts on tires & flaps
I just picked up an Eiger Grey X with the same wheels and interior (I think) as yours. Did you ever decide on mudflaps? I'm likely going with the standard (not classic) front and rear, but haven't found any pics of them mounted to an X with the glossy black bottom trims.
Don't bother with the OEM Goodyear Wrangler tires. Mine are half worn after 15K miles.
When I take off the Nokian winter tires in spring, I'm going with these Falken Wildpeak tires:

I ran them on our LR4's. Quiet on the road, good in rain and worked well off road in soft sand. Also have reinforced sidewalls if ever airing down.

Narvik gloss? If so, how have they held up? I've been told by 2 shops that they advise against it and won't warranty the work.

“hasn’t flaked or fade at all”. Give it time, it will. I listen to advice from the people who do this for a living. Paint shop said it won’t last, I’ll heed their advice.
If I can get a year or two before I have to refinish it, I'd be okay. I bought a walnut blaster for another project and it's just sitting there begging to be used again.
