People always think Texas is big until they realize you can fit three Texas into one Alaska.

@new to landrover - That is an AWESOME pic. You get the stud award if you hiked up there to take that pic!!

All: I'm SUPER glad that this thread has the MOST views. Well beyond the long, ever contributed "Where's my Defender" threads. Not busting on anyone. I was a FREQUENT contributor before mine came as well. So, I'm poking fun at myself as anyone else.

Someone needs to continue these type of threads!! Well started @GavinC !

I was gonna say 15 miles north of Moab up 191, close to the airport, maybe Hidden Valley?

So organized a last minute father/son trip with my son. The plan was to take his defender to colorado, hike a couple of 14ers, disperse camp (with couple in between nights in hotels) and downhill mountain bike in a couple of ski resorts.
So we hiked Mt Elbert and mountain biked in Vail and Snowmass, was planning to hike Mt. Massive next but son suggested we go to MOAB instead, which I immediately agreed on!
Long canyon:

Shafer trail in Canyonlands.

Onion creek:

Fins and things outside of MOAB:
