Finally made the Imogene run. Tried last year but the pass was closed.
Nice! I was in the San Juans last month for a week, did all the big passes. Did you hear about the 3 deaths yesterday? A guide rolled a Gladiator with two tourists in it. It was on Camp Bird Trail, which is on the road that leads to Imogene from Ouray, right around Yankee Boy Trail (which I actually enjoyed more than Imogene — hope you got a chance to go to the end of that one. Picture below.)
Does anyone know of fun trails that are moderate and within an hour of Denver? Going to be there in a few weeks and want to do a fun trail with friends but nothing too crazy.

I saw that just today about the rollover with the guide driving a couple tourist. Feels really weird as we where just on that road 1.5 weeks ago. Didn't make it to Yankee Boy Badin but planned for next year on our way to Moab with a quick stop for a few days in Ouray.
Looks awesome in your pic and definitely on the list, hear it is a tough go on the top third of the trail but well worth it
With Day 1 of ownership behind us (getting writers cramp at the dealership and drive it home :-D LOL ) it was time for an actual test drive on Day 2 of ownership
We hopped out for a quick morning run where both Paula and I took some time behind the wheel on the highway and some easy off-piste stuff close to home. In fact my charming wife never cared to drive the manual transmission on the Toyota FJ off-road so this was pretty much her first kick at the cat so to speak (gravel roads on her Triumph Tiger aside). I have to admit it was simply fun to start and wrap our heads around some of the tech and general feel of the 110x Dynamic. We both loved the short leisurely trip to wrap our heads around how the Defender bits and bobs come together. That AUTO mode makes it almost too easy (certainly more challenging terrain is possibly another matter) - and those camera views - wow!
Looking forward to more fun to come! Even caught a snippet of fall color which is always nice. A few iPhone 11 Pro pics here and we found a nice spot to pull the new trailer to once we get it home mid-Oct...
Nature's getting herself bedazzled here too.
Great fun today with LoRange and my new KO2s. So much more relaxing on the rocks and ruts knowing there is some decent sidewall under foot.
A fun spot to explore and enjoy some panoramic views and some clay pigeon shooting.
