Tackling some rockier trails with the right boots and rims. Not a long one but with all the washouts and melon-sized rocks this would have been a doozy on OEM 20" daftalloys.
A little flex
And lift
Finally got it perched to take a snap.
I think I can see Autumn somewhere out there.

I envy the locations and the great photos also. I’m on the east end of Long Island NY, no 4x4 trails to speak of, but there is an active 4x4 beach culture if you can navigate all of the entities that issue permits. For state beaches you need a state permit (they have the most restrictive requirements), for county beaches you need a county permit, for town beaches you need a town permit, for village beaches you need a village permit. Each with their own rules and fees.
This is my first 4x4, and first time driving on the beach, so I am still afraid of getting stuck, but so far so good.
Montauk County Park, east end of Long Island. Sunny calm Saturday, just a few people on the beach.
Base Defender 90 with all the off road options.
I wasn’t brave enough to go down and around the point in the distance, maybe next time.
Water color was great. A few people fishing. Water was pretty calm, no wind.

Up in wee hours this morning to finally tackle this trail. It's been on my wish list for nearly a year. Definitely the most challenging I've done. Had a great time.
Bash plate earned its meal again. One rock that I navigated safely on the way up, caught me out on the way down.
Lo Range, HDC and mud/ruts for the most part.
It even started to snow up top. I bloody love this truck. More so now than ever now that it's appropriately shod.
More wheel lifting.
Choose your adventure.
Some pucker factor in the off camber sections.
A few more pinstripes to add to the collection and a little forest kiss for good measure.
Happy Friday y'all.
