I'm picky (!) about my Shrimp and Grits! Lived in Charleston / Mt Pleasant far too long.

I yield my hijack of this thread.

Did some dispersed camping this weekend. Ended up we didn't need the Defender and our old Volvo could have handled it. But is was nice driving and using the Defender.
We also got to see some bison.

Start of the trip.

A wee bit dusty. Looking like it belongs.

Nice herd.

Snow is almost gone

Got a bit tight.

And had to turn around.

Tremendous pictures. Love it. Always a bit disappointing when a snow remnant blocks a track. That sort of stuff is no joke. Will get you in trouble fast.

Yes - from Bald Mt. Not many tourists go up there probably due to the conditions of the road/trail so it's never really crowded. But there's some really nice views especially from the top. I think it's 13,600' so pretty high up. When the snow fully melts you can drive to within a mile or so of the summit.

Did a little 24 hr. photo road trip on Thursday... From LA to Mt Whitney then Death Valley and back to LA.
The AC in my Defender 90 is awesome in 115*f Death Valley "dry heat"
