Took the Cricket out for its first trip in '24. Did really get to explore the capabilities of the Defender or the Cricket aside from some dirt roads. Once in camp we were rained on and then assaulted by bloodsucking jerks (mosquitos). All in all, a pretty standard upper midwest camping adventure.
Lots of slightly over softball sized loose rock. Not a challenge at all for the Defender. 10-15 degree slope with ruts that must be bridged. Seemed firm enough to drive across but I hate digging and I’ve played this game before. The soft part is always right in the middle. Great views from the top.
Pardon the non-Insta photos, but I wasn't allowed out of the Defender during the trip. Crossed the Corrotoman River on one of the few remaining cable ferry's this weekend. It was a cool "ride" across the river.
